The catalog was published on the occasion of the exhibition Words as Doors: in Language, Art, Film, Film (3.15.2014 – 5.18.2014) at Künstlerhaus, Halle für Kunst & Medien.
The international group exhibition Words as Doors: in Language, Art, Film was dedicated to the interpenetrating relationship between writing, art and film. In this extensive publication the authors examine the accelerated, inflationary conditions in the current dissemination, production, and consumption of films today, thereby demonstrating the diversity and differences in attempts of approximation to the spaces of art and film by reflecting on the exhibited positions in the show.
