Charity Slam Show
Performance
for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria
The HALLE FÜR KUNST Steiermark is pleased to have the opportunity to make the house available this evening for a charity slam show in aid of the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. The current Austrian U20 poetry slam champion Muhammed Dumanli organizes the show in cooperation with Salam Oida, Slam City Graz and Proact.
We will be guided through the evening by the brilliant host Mario Tomić, who will also open the evening with a self-penned poetry slam contribution.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Austrian Red Cross.
Last but not least, the slam shows a connection to the current exhibition “sink” by Heinrich Dunst, which shows the open and fragile relationship of word to image by means of a course of artworks and their “media”.
Guests:
Elif Duygu — Austrian Poetryslam Champion in individual and team competition
Muhammed Dumanli — Austrian Poetryslam U20 Champion
Lukas Hofbauer — national champion Styria and Carinthia
