Philosophy lecturer and writer Mara-Daria Cojocaru ties in with themes from Yalda Afsah’s exhibition. On three dates in July, short videos on the relationship between humans and animals will be published online. By means of the contributions ANIMAL, ANIMAL LOVE and ANIMAL PAIN, Cojocaru invites the viewer to engage with the thematic complex of humans, animals and ethics.

The contribution ANIMAL PAIN focuses on the suffering of animals and, among other things, also addresses animal protection laws. To what extent can animal suffering be adequately understood from a human perspective? How can the aspect of joy in animals and animal welfare be best understood?
