In an extensive interview between Stano Filko and curator Hans Ulrich Obrist central notions of artistic access are elaborated and the artist’s own voice will be heard during a studio visit to the legendary Atelier Snečienkova (supported by artists Koo Jeong A & Roman Ondák). Hans Ulrich Obrist

*1968 Weinfelden, Swiss; lives in London and Zürich

is artistic director of the Serpentine Galleries in London, and Senior Advisor at LUMA in Arles. He is considered one of the most influential curators in the world and has curated over 300 exhibitions internationally, including at institutions such as Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris; Kunsthalle Wien; Deichtorhallen Hamburg; and MoMA P.S.1, New York. Obrist lectures internationally at numerous academic and artistic institutions, writes for various art magazines, and advises Artforum, Flash Art, AnOther Magazine, and Cahiers D’Art. He has published numerous publications, including Ways of Curating (2014); Lives of the Artists, Lives of the Architects (2015); Mondialité or the Archipelagos of Edouard Glissant (2017); and the interview volume The Athens Dialogues (2018). He is also known for his interviews with artists, including an extensive conversation with Stano Filko.
