Art is often conceived as more static than it actually is, which is partly due to the fact that in many cases objects are placed in the center and that there is less knowledge about the fact that writing and theoretical work also play an important role in artistic production. The Text-Art performance closes this gap: Filko’s art is made evident in its processual character through the performance of particular Text-Art works. This writing-based art form served Filko throughout his life for artistic self-affirmation and the crystallization of his cosmic system, the so-called System SF. The performance provides an exciting insight into the artist’s multifaceted texts. Self-aware statements unfold the vision of a new sensitivity and summon up the subjective in art. Other text pieces open Filko’s interdimensional world of imagination and also involve the bodies of the visitors through his artistic point on chakras.

All this reveals a fascinating and sometimes quite bizarre artistic megalomania, with which Filko wants nothing less than to mirror the overall context of existence in his art.
